In a strong competition of more than 3300 companies worldwide, competing in various categories, a representative of Serbian IT industry has been awarded an extraordinary title – Microsoft Partner of the Year for Serbia.
This achievement is a strong incentive for further strengthening and widening the strategic partnership of our largest system integrator and Microsoft, a global IT leader.
The award Comtrade System Integration has won twice in a row – four times in the last five years – is best described by Marko Bratic, the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Due to the very nature of our industry, relations with the key strategic partners are of great significance for our ability to make our vision come true. Having that in mind, this year’s Microsoft Partner of the Year award is the best confirmation of all decisions we have made previously, our perseverance and the overall quality we provide for our clients.”
The prestigious competition includes selecting the best cases – examples of good business practice which demonstrate excellence in innovation and using consumer solutions based on Microsoft technology. This year, Comtrade System Integration presented a case titled: “How to migrate to cloud within less than 6 months, with only one request from the P3 Group management: no on-premise infrastructure”.
This complex quantitative project was performed for a multinational company P3 – Ingenieurgesellschaft für Management und Organisation, employing more than 1000 people in 17 countries, with average annual revenue of more than 100 million USD. The main goal was to create an agile and modern IT environment, capable to support the expansion and migration of the existing data.
Vladimir Markovic, Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialist, tells us more about the project specifics and its implementation:
“The challenges were many: from migrating an enormous amount of shared resources, to limits in the Tenant2Tenant migration related to Forms, Planner, Teams, Stream. We were constantly working in different time zones, with people in Mexico, the US, Germany, Romania, China and Serbia.”
To ensure the information access and user security, the following technologies were used: ATP – Windows Defender, MFA, Conditional Access, Cloud apps security, Network security Groups and Azure B2B.
Comtrade System Integration is the largest Microsoft Licensing Solution Provider in Serbia. The company market access is characterized by a digital transformation strategy, achieving value by educating clients, additional consulting and services, as well as IP solutions offering.
“The vision of future Comtrade System Integration business development includes further growth in other markets we are present in, especially in Slovenia, and then the wider CEE market”, representatives of the company state.
Microsoft Partner of the Year award shows the chosen development path is right, supporting our system integrator to continue strengthening this successful, long-term cooperation with Microsoft.
