NT Konferenca, the largest Slovenian technological and business event just ended, and we were honored to be a part of this prestigious event!
We were recognized as Microsoft Partner of the Year 2024 for Slovenia. This achievement reflects our commitment to excellence in Microsoft solutions, and being a general sponsor of this event strengthened our partnership even more. The event gathered some of the biggest experts in the industry, and our colleagues took the stage all three days of the conference to share their knowledge and experience and contribute valuable insights to the technological landscape.
On the first day of the conference, in their interactive presentation „What if robots could see and simulate thinking“, Primož Golavšek, Power Platform Specialist, and Filip Koprivica, Business Development Manager, guided participants through the fascinating world of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Azure Cognitive Services.
Using the creative metaphor of building a castle, they illustrated the power and potential of these technologies: RPA was likened to the solid foundation of a castle, efficiently handling repetitive tasks with precision, while Azure Cognitive Services acted as the intelligent watchtowers, providing advanced capabilities such as vision and decision-making.
Throughout the session, real-world use cases were highlighted, showing how these technologies can enhance an organization’s efficiency and innovation. Attendees left with actionable insights on leveraging RPA and AI to build stronger, smarter business operations.
On the second day, Aleš Leskošek, Executive Director for Slovenia, held an opening speech, welcoming all attendees to the NTK Business Day.
As part of „NTK Business: Technology: faster, further, better with AI“ segment, dr Boris Cergol, Head of AI, talked about the ever-evolving landscape of artificial intelligence and how our interaction with it is poised to change.
He highlighted that while generative AI continues to grow smarter, our engagement methods have remained outdated, similar to communicating with a brilliant colleague solely via text messages. This AI, though intelligent, couldn’t hear us, see our screens, or actively participate in our workflows. Boris emphasized that this dynamic is on the verge of a transformation. Emerging technologies promise to revolutionize AI, evolving it from a passive tool into a proactive collaborator, one that truly understands and interacts with us in more intuitive ways. He states that innovations are set to redefine user experiences and applications in the near future.
The same day, Dušan Jovičić, Lead Software Engineer, and Bjorn Bračko, AI Engineer, conducted a hands-on workshop that showcased how custom intelligent chatbots can revolutionize team productivity. Participants were introduced to AutoGen, an advanced framework that simplifies the creation and deployment of AI-driven chatbots.
The workshop demonstrated how to build chatbots using AutoGen and seamlessly integrate them into Microsoft Teams. By the end of the session, attendees saw firsthand how these custom solutions could streamline workflows, automate complex tasks, and significantly enhance team efficiency.
On the third day of the event, Tadej Bajc, Microsoft Solutions Consultant, and Oliver Nikolić, Services consultant, highlighted the critical importance of unifying security technologies to face modern-day cyber threats.
The presentation reviewed key security incidents, attack vectors, and statistics from 2023, emphasizing why baseline security actions are essential for improving an organization’s security posture. Drawing on their field experience with Microsoft technologies, they introduced a proactive approach to cybersecurity, anchored in the Zero Trust model. They demonstrated how organizations can strengthen their infrastructure with Microsoft and Comtrade’s solutions, providing practical insights on being cyber-ready and compliant with today’s challenges.

The sessions, workshops, and presentations provided actionable insights on AI, RPA, and cybersecurity, empowering businesses to navigate the complexities of digital transformation.
